GUITAR

Gabriel Deutsch

Gabriel Deutsch is a guitarist and arranger living and performing in LA. He holds a Master’s degree in performance and composition from the California Institute of the Arts. Gabriel’s guitar style has been described as a bridging of the gap between flamenco and classical performance. His work with the Los Angeles Electric 8 has enjoyed a great many write ups and has enjoyed performances with Microfest, Red Cat and Pomona City College.
Gabriel has made hundreds of arrangements for guitar. His arrangements include classical works of Rachmonioff and Mozart to Classic Rock and Electronic Music. His YouTube channel, Gabriel Solo Guitar is nearing 1000 subscribers with arrangements that delight the guitarist and music appreciator alike.
Gabriel has performed at reputable venues all over the greater LA area: from Disney Concert Hall to The Wiltern to Pappy and Harriets. Gabriel has a studio in Old Town Pasadena where he teaches classical, acoustic and electric guitar.

Music Production

Sunwoo Han

Sunwoo is a music producer, a drummer, and a sound engineer who has a Bachelor of Music degree in music production and drum performance in Berklee College of Music. She released her first EP album, “Love,” in 2018 which was distributed worldwide. Her main goal as a teacher is to provide students with what they wants as musicians and communicating with them to increase their musical skills.

Jenny Kim

Jenny is passionate about music. With over a decade of experience in teaching private lessons, including working with children, she is dedicated to nurturing musical talent. With a patient and personalized approach, she aims to inspire students of all ages to develop their musical abilities to their fullest potential.

Jenny’s love for music is deeply rooted in her family’s musical heritage. Growing up with a family with numerous musical performers and teachers, she learned and grew passion for music. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music with a specialization in Classical Piano Performance from UC San Diego. Beyond her teaching and accompanist roles, Jenny actively contributes to the musical landscape of her community through her involvement in church settings. Her versatility and adaptability shine as she engages in various musical contexts, enhancing worship services and special events. Jenny’s vision for her students is to provide them with more than just musical skills. She aims to instill a lifelong love and enjoyment of music. By fostering creativity, self-expression, and a deep connection to the art, she empowers her students to carry the gift of music with them throughout their lives.

Anne Eunjoh Jeong

Anne Eunjoh Jeong is a two-decade experienced teacher of all ages dedicated as well as a church accompanist. Anne has a piano performance degree and has participated in various master classes under Janon Fishvine of the Manhattan School of Music, Alexander of Russia Music Conservatory Professor. Anne loves working with young children which gives the most rewarding and worthwhile experiences of all.

Jin-Ju Seo

Jin-Ju started learning piano when she was 6 and a half years old. She has served as an accompanist at Korean Peace Church of Los Angeles during her middle school years. She has served as an accompanist for a variety of vocalists at Chatsworth High School. She has served as an accompanist at Mandarin Baptist Church of San Fernando Valley and at Evergreen Mission Church during her college years. Jin-Ju has taken years of piano lessons with Yung-Mee Rhee (the director of La Canada School of Music). Jin-Ju studied music at Los Angeles Valley College, then majored in Piano Performance for Master’s Degree at CSUN. She has been working as a piano teacher at La Canada School of Music for years. Jin-Ju is currently an accompanist at Antioch Presbyterian Church. She teaches piano in Korean and in English. She loves accompanying choir music. She enjoys singing. She is happy when giving piano lessons to her students.

Anne Eunjoh Jeong

Pianist Junie Cho has appeared as soloist with orchestras, recitalist and chamber musician throughout the United States and in Asia. Her performance of Beethoven’s Emperor Concerto with Prime Symphony Orchestra at Merkin Hall in New York City was acclaimed for its “majestic resonance and graceful melodies”. The New York debut recital at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall has been followed by engagements of solo recitals and chamber music concerts with members of the New York Philharmonic and the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra.

In 2014 she joined the piano faculty at Appalachian State University Hayes School of Music in North Carolina, where she held residency until 2023. Cho attended Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, The Mannes College and Manhattan School of Music where she earned the Doctor of Musical Arts degree. Her teachers include Woonkyung Kang, Alfonso Montecino, James Tocco, Marylène Dosse, Lilian Kallir, Robert McDonald, Claude Frank, and Nina Svetlanova. While maintaining performance schedule, she is frequently invited to give lectures and masterclasses, and to adjudicate competitions in the United States and in Korea.

Joong-In Rhee

Cellist, Joong-In Rhee, has performed numerous works for various audiences throughout the years captivating them with his sensitive lyricism and passionate playing. Joong-In Rhee was a former student of the late Janos Starker at Indiana University. Completing his education at Indiana University and Yale University, he then joined the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra as co-principal cellist where he gained recognition from many prominent musicians.

Joong-In was also the first prize winner of many competitions including the Lima Symphony Young Artist Competition, Bloomington Symphony Competition, Indianapolis Symphony Young Artist Competition, Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition, and a finalist of the Brazil International Cello Competition.

Being most active with humanitarian work, Joong-In Rhee founded the Agape Ensemble to perform benefit concerts in his mission to feed the hungry children of the world. Currently, he is Vice-President of IIMF(Image International Music Festival, non-profit), working to sponsor and promote musically talented students from around the world, and is also the Artistic Director of Yung-Mee RheeMusic Academy in California where he teaches cello.
